My day started with a nice long rail trail run followed by a workout. After two hours of running and working out it was time to move into lunch where Beau, Hazel and I had a competition to see who could get the most people to sign up for the 5K run/walk event that Proctor is holding. We walked around lunch for about an hour and found that most everyone had already signed up but we got a good amount of people to sign up to help with water stations and found around 15-16 people who hadn't signed up yet. Over all it was successful and the 5K is looking to be great event!
After lunch Hazel, Beau and I met back in the training room and talked more about what we want to focus on with athletic training. After we discussed for a bit we moved back into taping and wrapping.
(getting my ankle taped...right before i cut off all my anklets by accident:(((()
(What we have been working with)
We have yet to master taping an ankle so after practicing that for a bit we decided to learn how to wrap a shoulder properly. I had my shoulder wrapped a couple times then wrapped others.
A lot of our time was taken up by the 5K signing up process so before I knew it I was off to practice.
After practice I popped back into the training room to head off with Chris to pick up the waters from the fields and dry them out before I was officially done for the day.
