Day 7

Today I arrived at school early and go in my two hour workout from 8:30-10:30. I worked in the weight room starting with a lift then ending with stretches to help loosen the muscles in my back and the moved into exercises that would help strengthen my core so the pain would be taken off of my back because my stomach is growing stronger. I find it very fun to put together an ab workout that works different parts of my stomach as well as working my shoulder and back muscles. I have had back problems for over a year now and I find that doing these exercises and the more physically fit I am in general helps to relieve that stress and pain that my back is going through.
I stopped by to spend time with my advisory where Kate Jones told me about a great invention her cousin has been working on. The product helps to incorporate music with movement by making a sound/note when you are doing a movement and if you do it wrong it makes a broken note so you know that whatever you did was not done correct. I was very interested in this and she offered to talk to her cousin and maybe find a way that I can get involved and work this into my senior project when I near the end. Who knows! It sounds sweet though!
After stopping in with the Jones I went to Kelly's gender studies class and then was off to lunch where I spent that hour and a half trying to get more people to sign up for the 5K....today was my least successful day of sign ups....
